The SMH site is today featuring a firetrucking load of past Sydney Madri Gras imagery – all powered by Silverlight.

It’s a good day for Silverlight in Australia – a good deal of people will see it in action. This app also clearly demonstrates some of the differences between Silverlight and other RIA technologies… deep zoom is seriously cool. Make sure you resize the window!
P.S. Jump in to IE8, crack open the direct URL to the IFRAME (here) and hook up the webslice… and resize that too. Wow it’s cool, well done Kordsy.
